Though not exactly the hottest couple around but Ganguly’s love story has charmed generations. The former Indian captain married Dona against the wishes of both the families, but eventually managed to convince them to accept his alliance. Both Ganguly and Dona were neighbours and best friends from their childhood and this friendship grew into love and Saurav proposed to Dona before leaving for his career defining England tour.
