6. Saurav Ganguly and Dona: 
Though not exactly the hottest couple around but Ganguly’s love story has charmed generations. The former Indian captain married Dona against the wishes of both the families, but eventually managed to convince them to accept his alliance. Both Ganguly and Dona were neighbours and best friends from their childhood and this friendship grew into love and Saurav proposed to Dona before leaving for his career defining England tour. But both the families opposed their relationship and Ganguly had to marry Dona in secrecy. Once the news broke out about the marriage, both the families accepted the couple and they were married again with complete rituals.

7. Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee:
Ayesha,wife of dashing opener Shikhar Dhawan is a half-Bengali half-British and has 2 daughters from her earlier marriage. She is believed to be an amateur boxing player, who has a great interest in sports.The couple got engaged way back in 2009, but Shikhar postponed the wedding by three years as he wanted to earn a respectable place in the Indian team before taking the plunge. Shikhar finally took the plunge and married Ayesha Mukherjee on October 30th, 2012.

Mashoom Singha is an Indian model and businesswoman. According to reports the lovebirds met a few years ago during an IPL event and have hit it off ever since. The Australian cricketer who divides his time between his hometown of Adelaide and Mumbai confesses that he is a much calmer person thanks to Mashoom.

The sports presenter was introduced to the dashing Shane Watson by his teammate Brett Lee way back in 2006.
